Abstract

The main condition for the implementation of a new management ideology, which can be designated as the philosophy of quality management of education, is the availability of a productive system of educational monitoring and pedagogical diagnostics developed on the basis of information technology and focused on systematic diagnosis and evaluation of educational outcomes. The objective of the study is to reveal the didactic advantages the application of information technologies in pedagogical diagnosis of the quality of educational outcomes. On the basis of the analysis of the didactic properties of modern information technologies and the peculiarities of their application during the pedagogical diagnosis of educational results of students, it has been established that the computerized process of pedagogical diagnostics ensures high efficiency of obtaining, collecting and processing information facilitating the implementation of control functions; the principal advantages of automated pedagogical diagnostics are manifested in terms of the implementation of the educational function of pedagogical control (operational feedback in the control process, the ability to create, based on the results of testing, simulators for storing the same type of information, etc.); IT diagnostics opens wide prospects for the implementation of diagnostic and correctional and educational control functions. The use of original algorithms ensures that students work in the most favorable for each individual, person-oriented mode, including the distribution of the complexity of tasks, which, of course, is a stimulating and motivating factor. In general, pedagogical diagnostics on the basis of the use of information and communication technologies can significantly improve the efficiency of the implementation of didactic control functions, provided the use of quality software. Since the degree of achievement of didactic goals is directly dependent on the quality of teaching, according to the results of the diagnosis of students' real academic achievements and their comparison with the requirements of the standards of training, reliable information can be obtained not only on the effectiveness of the functioning of the education system, but also on the feasibility of those or other implementations innovations. The results of modern research lead to the necessity and relevance of the definition of theoretical and methodological foundations, the main provisions of the development and substantiation of the possible introduction of information technology tools for pedagogical diagnostics in the educational process.
