To the problem of the essential characteristics of professional mobility of a specialist

Abstract

In the article, the author reveals the essence of the concept of "professional mobility" in integrating unity with other forms of mobility and modern social strategies to promote personal and professional development of a specialist. Mobility in the broad sense is an interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary concept that is actively used in economics, sociology, psychology and pedagogy, in connection with which there is a large number of approaches to the definition of this concept. In the national science semantic content of the concept of "professional mobility" has changed significantly over the last quarter century, which is associated with radical changes socio-economic and ideological nature. Professional mobility is often interpreted as changing the professional role of an employee, due to changes in the place of work or profession, it is associated with the reproduction of the socio- professional structure of society, reflecting the needs of society in different professions, qualifications. In the concept of professional mobility distinguish objective, subjective and characterological aspects. The topicality of professional mobility is due to several reasons that can be divided into external (changes in the environment of human life, which can have a global and individual character) and internal (individual characteristics associated with the orientation of the individual). Professional mobility as a system is a structural set of personal qualities, among which distinguish: independence; purposefulness; goal-setting; critical thinking; social mobility; activity; adaptability; openness; creativity; communicative; competence. Readiness for professional mobility includes activity and subjective criteria. Formation of professional mobility is possible only on the basis of the development of certain competences of a specialist: educational, social, multicultural, value-semantic, methodical. The problem of professional mobility of a specialist is very closely connected with motives and the purpose of activity as the main factor of the manifestation of mobility, therefore the psychological basis of professional mobility of the individual is the dynamism of its motivational, intellectual and volitional processes.
