Application of educational strategies at the lessons of a foreign language in the Hungarian-language schools of Transcarpathia

Abstract
A number of studies have appeared in the field of language pedagogy and researches from co-genres in how best to learn and improve language learning. This is also the goal of the Learning Strategies method, which has been matured in one of the basic language learning disciplines in the past few decades. Processing and learning new information is done in a variety of ways. Strategies are learning methods. Linguistic researches show that learning strategies are the steps taken by students to increase their knowledge. Learning strategies are specific procedures that learners use to make learning easier, faster, more enjoyable, more aware, more efficient and more transferable in new situations. Compared to the average results we have to conclude that monolingual students remember more effectively and record information better than their bilingual counterparts. The cause behind is probably the disruption of the use of multiple languages. Sometimes bilingual students do not pay much attention to this. When evaluating all the elements of the questionnaire, I came to the conclusion that bilingual learners use learning strategies in English lessons more courageously and efficiently. Emotions, co-learning with partners also play an important role in language learning. In the mirror of the data, the balance is tilted to the bilingual side: they are more confident, they are more determined to use a new foreign language. All in all, strategies play an important role in effective language learning and they deserve further attention in order to acquire a higher level of learning of any foreign language in this fast-paced, foreign-language world.
