Ways of using comics in the educational process

Abstract

In the time of information saturation of the modern world, the teacher of elementary classes faces the task of stimulating students to more profound and comprehensive study of subjects, to instill interest in them in classes in the Ukrainian language and literary reading. It is necessary to think carefully not only the content, but also the form of the lesson. He must be alive and exciting, but at the same time curiosity should not hide the main thing - the cognitive value of the lesson. One way is to use illustrated material, including comics. Today, comics are increasingly turning into effective teaching techniques, when it is interesting not only to read children, but also to create them. In this case, they become a convenient form of communication and open a qualitatively new approach to the internalisation of information.In this article we are talking about the prospects of using comics in primary school classes. The author presents ways of using comics in the educational process, their advantages are determined. Comics - illustrated story, story in pictures. Bright, rich colors, images help to better remember the written. The younger student in the learning process, remembering a large number of rules is sometimes very difficult. Comics on the school theme will help to clearly visualize and efficiently master the material. In the process of working on comics students are included in the activity of auditory and visual analyzers. Students analyze, isolate, compare, highlight the main thing, remove the unnecessary, change, thinking non-standard and creative. Consequently, comics increase their motivation to study, they are able to capture the students 'eyes, make them read the characters' replicas, and reproduce the text. Read comics is much easier and more interesting than long texts. Reading and understanding short comics can inspire confidence in their abilities (especially in students whose reading pace is not the best), which is sometimes so necessary in the learning process. Funny pictures provide visual support for learning, tune in to a humorous way, allow you to relax and our brain is again able to perceive information.
