Historyography of the problem of development of higher agricultural education in Ukraine (middle of ХХ сentury – beginning of ХХІ сentury)

Abstract
A brief analysis of the state of research of the problem of development of higher agricultural education in Ukraine in the period from the 50-ies of the XX century to the beginning of the XXI century has been made in the article. During the period of Ukraine's stay in the USSR its agrarian education was investigated as an integral part of the system of higher agricultural education of the Soviet Union and its effectiveness and productivity were precisely ideologized, although it is impossible to completely eliminate some positive experience of specialists training for the agrarian sector. The author also noted that in the works of the Soviet period a little attention was paid to the analysis of the quality of curricula, programs of specialists- agrarians preparation, organization of educational process, practical training, forms, methods and teachers work. In the conditions of Ukraine's independence, the problem of specialists training for the agrarian sector has become much more actualized. The development of the agrarian sector, as well as Ukraine as a whole, requires a holistic system of education that would be in line with the national interests and civilizations vector of its development and would ensure the specialists training capable to implement innovative ideas into the life. During the second half of the 20th century was accumulated a significant potential of historical sources on the sphere of education of Ukraine, reflecting the diverse areas of functioning of the republic's national education system, in particular institutions of general secondary, vocational, secondary and higher education. However, there is a small number of sources on the formation and development of higher agricultural education in Ukraine. Nevertheless, nowadays there is not generalized thorough research on the historiography of the development of higher agricultural education in Ukraine. There are only isolated intelligence from the history of studying of its individual aspects. And the current stage of development of domestic agrarian education, which is marked by qualitative changes and shifts, requires the preparation and conducting of such studies.
