Characteristics of key concepts of investigation of the problem of development of pre-school education in the South of Ukraine

Abstract
In the article under consideration the authors outline the key concepts of the study of the problem – Development of preschool education in the South of Ukraine (the second half of the 20th – the beginning of the 21st centuries). Such concepts as "preschool education", "types of preschool educational institutions", "preschool pedagogy", "region", "preschool education of the South of Ukraine", justification of which is based on the research of Ukrainian scientists and the legislative substruction, are considered and briefly described. The leading principles of the Ukrainian education system, which are declared in the general state normative documents, became the determinative factors in this research. The key concept to the research – preschool education in the South of Ukraine is considered by the authors as an integral part of the system of preschool education of Ukraine, which in its development obey to the general tendencies of the development of education, in particular its preschool brunch, functions as the formation of a fully developed individuality in conditions of preschool educational institutions and alternative forms of preschool education taking into account the influence of social and economic factors that are inherent in the southern region of Ukraine due to climatic, geographical and ethnical features typical in the Black Sea economic region. Studying the problem of developing of preschool education in the South of Ukraine it is advisable to use these conclusions, taking into account the need to strengthen, improving, enhancing the functions of preschool education and institutions that provide this process, the need for professional growth of educators and leaders of preschool institutions. These conclusions will contribute to better understanding of the problem of development of preschool education in the South of Ukraine during the specified period.
