Artistic palette of cultural life of Stanislavov (Іvano-Frankivsk): historical context and musical professionalism of present days

The proposed article analyzes the process of functioning of Stanislav's artistic life as an integral historical and cultural phenomenon. The dynamics of its development in the context of social processes and ethnic diversity of the city's population is presented. The evolution of the acquired experience became the basis for the formation of the musical professionalism of the present. The geographical location of the city was closer to Central and Eastern Europe, which allowed it to absorb the best traditions and features inherent in European culture. It was investigated that Polish and Jewish societies developed along with Ukrainian ones. Their appearance prompted the activation of the creative process, the growth of the level of performance, progress in the musical and educational sphere. The article states that Stanislaviv is one of the first cities of Eastern Galicia to be actively involved in the newest cultural co-operation processes associated with the launch of a number of public-educational organizations, in which one of the central places was musical art.
