Institutions of boarding school type of the beginning ХХ century in historical and pedagogical studios of Transcarpathia

Abstract
Activity of the residential care facilities is part of the process of the modernization of the education system. The study of the retrospective of national education acquires weighty value. In particular, the functioning of the Transcarpathian residential care facilities which, by virtue of historical circumstances, in addition to their own achievements, learned and implemented European socio-pedagogical models. The objective historical-system analysis of this experience extends the definition capabilities of the possibilities for reforming the Ukrainian system of the public education in the context of a single educational space. The historiography of the studying the problem of boarding education is rich in numerous world and national scientific achievements. The article defines the aspects of historical and pedagogical research according to the trends of the scientific and research developments (coverage of the problem of formation and development of the residential care facilities in historical retrospect; the organization of educational process in the residential institutions and etc.). The thorough analysis has been conducted of the historical and pedagogical studies of the Transcarpathian scholars on coverage of activity of orphanages, children's shelters and other residential care facilities in the Transcarpathia. Among the monographs on scientific publications of the historical and pedagogical character studies are allocated, in which the peculiarities of formation and development of the residential institutions in the Transcarpathia after its accession to the Soviet Ukraine in 1944. In the overwhelming majority this is statistical data on the number of such facilities, their material support and the specifics of their activities. Separate research is devoted to the analysis of activity of the residential care facilities among them Vynogradiv orphanage, Khust Boarding School, Uzhhorod special boarding school for children with hearing impairments. Important in the implementation of historical and pedagogical research is the encyclopedic and reference books which are characterized by the generalized history of the Transcarpathia, where the issue of political system, economic and social situation, development and formation of culture, general and special education are comprehensively highlighted.
