Lingvo didactic aspect of word-formation zoonyms in the process of teaching Russian as a foreign language

Abstract
The possibilities of teaching word formation in the process of forming a linguistic personality as a means of expanding the lexical stock and improving spelling skills in mastering a second language are highlighted in the article under consideration. Word formation makes it possible to penetrate into the essence of the morphological structure of the Russian word, helps to understand the semantic links between related words, connect organically the lexical and grammatical systems, contributing to the overall development of students, the development of logical thinking. Mastering of ways and means of word formation in the process of learning Russian as a foreign language should ensure the creation of a mobile vocabulary, ensure the formation of a real vocabulary, expand the potential vocabulary, develop lexical quiz. In the present article we start from the fact that one of the main problems of the linguistic description of the objective world is the discovery of a fundamental model of language that represents linguistic facts as systemic. The most important components of the structure of the lexical system of language is the presence of the core and periphery. The terms "core" and "periphery" are used in the process of analysis not of the whole vocabulary, but its parts, designating those parts of investigated objects, which are being correlated as a regular, important, and optional. The search of the pure linguistic criteria of distinguishing the core and periphery of the particular lexical and semantic class of words has predetermined the urgency of the only parameter – word-formation activity, which is understood as word-formation potential, being realized in the form of usually fixed in the language words. The lower limit of word-formation activity by statistical processing of the material was determined as equal to 3. We have classified lexemes with word-forming activity below 3 to the periphery. The aim of the article is to determine the core and the periphery of lexico-semantic group (LSG) "wild mammals". The choice of material is due to the role traditionally played by zoonyms in the mind of the "language personality". This is confirmed by their frequent use in fiction, scientific literature, everyday communication. Mastering of ways and means of word formation in the process of learning Russian as a foreign language should ensure the creation of a mobile vocabulary, ensure the formation of a real dictionary, expand the potential dictionary, develop lexical quiz. Word formation not only provides vocabulary replenishment and facilitates of understanding of new language units, but also contributes to the expansion of ways of their use in verbal communication. In this respect, increases the importance of studying the word-formation and semantic structure of zoonyms, ways of their formation, formation of skills of operating them in communicative situations, that is the formation of word-forming competence of students on this material.
