Abstract
The professional competence of the future English teacher is the integral personal creation, which contains appreciatively-motivational (motives, professional position, attitude), cognitive (knowledge, skills), personal (personal features and skills), reflexive (self-correction, self-assessment) components with the help of which the effective professional duties of foreign language teacher are fulfilled. On the other hand, it is the result of professional competence acquisition (in the process of professional and practical training). The peculiarity of foreign language professional competence formation is in the fact that half of these competencies are acquired during the training at the first specialty.
