Abstract

According to researchers in higher educational establishments, insufficient attention has been paid to preparing of primary school teachers to work with hyperactive students in modern conditions. The problems of hyperactive children with behavioral disorders and related learning disabilities are particularly relevant today (about 20-30% of schoolchildren now fall into this group). Constantly excited, inattentive, unobtrusive and noisy - such children attract the teacher's attention, who needs to find out an individual personal approach, to ensure children to perform the tasks quietly, do not interfere with classmates. The article has been devoted to the analysis of psychological and pedagogical researches of the problem of preparation of future primary school teachers to professional activity. The authors have considered the sence of the conceptions of "preparation" and "readiness". The thesis that "preparation" is interpreted as a process, and "readiness" as a result, completed action is accepted. They have analized the approaches to the content of pedagogical skills. Generally speaking, the difference in understanding of the sence of person's readiness for activity is determined by the level at which the problem is considered: functional (state) or personal (quality). An attention has placed on the need to ensure the moral and mental component of the specialists' preparation. The purpose of the study is to diagnose the state of preparation of future primary school teachers to work with hyperactive students. We have revealed the level of understanding of the goals and objectives of organization of educational work with hyperactive primary school students. It has been noted that a large part of students, during organization of educational work in primary school, does not consider it advisable to implement innovative approaches to work with hyperactive students. In the context of the research, we have determined the level of willingness of future primary school teachers to work with hyperactive children and indicated the possible reasons for the low level of such readiness. There has been conducted a survey of students at Mukachevo State University and found that the majority of respondents found a low level of readiness to organize educational work with hyperactive primary school students. Future specialists point out that such condition leads to a lack of understanding of the importance of organizing educational work with hyperactive students, lack of awareness of their purpose and tasks of teaching and upbringing of such children, insufficient level of development of practical experience, the availability of students' stereotypes about the organization of educational environment. An improving of the effectiveness of pedagogical influence on the future elementary school teacher is possible, provided that the formation of practical skills to solve situations that may arise during the educational process, conducting non-standard lessons and interesting extracurricular activities.
