Peculiarities of methodological preparation of future teachers of primary school of learning Ukrainian

Abstract

The article describes modern approaches to teaching the Ukrainian language in primary school in the context of educational reform. The requirements of the new State standard of primary education in the field are analyzed, attention is paid to the role of the Ukrainian language lessons in the formation of the national-speaking personality. The New Ukrainian School Concept identifies ways of exercising the competencies that are in the priority. The purpose of the article is to reveal the peculiarities of methodological preparation of the future teacher for teaching the state language. Task: to find out modern approaches to teaching the Ukrainian language in the context of modern reforms, to determine the peculiarities of methodological preparation of future teachers for teaching the state language. The primary school teacher's job is to implement those priorities that are outlined in the normative documents for language education. The Ukrainian language is not only an educational subject, but also a state language, which will allow the graduates of an educational institution to socialize in society. The modern system of preparation of primary school teachers is a complete complex of interrelated elements: goals, objectives, educational programs, teaching methods, forms of organization of the pedagogical process and others. Among the components of this process are the following: professionally directed general training as well as methodically and culturally orientated. Emphasis is placed on the methodological preparation of future teachers for mother tongue teaching. Among the features are: understanding of the philosophy of modern primary school, the importance of the Ukrainian language as a subject, improvement of the content of lectures and practical classes. The modern requirements for methodical education in the university are investigated, the importance of modernization of lectures and practical classes on discipline, organization of independent work of students is emphasized. One method of teaching is proposed, which involves modeling situations. Examples of individual methodological tasks that provide modeling of a fragment of a lesson are given. The prospect of further research is to find out the content and main goal of new second-grade Ukrainian text books.
