In the article "Practical Aspects of Formation of the Speech Culture of Future Primary School Teachers", associate professors Golubovska I. V. and Pidhurska V. Yu. draw attention to the steady interest of contemporary Ukrainians in speech culture, as it is through speech the general cultural level of man is revealed, and impeccable mastering literary language is an important indicator of education and intelligence. The article describes basic communication language principles as a significant factor of professional formation of the future teachers of modern elementary school. Different interpretations of the concept of "speech culture" are considered (on the example of studios Z. Matsyuk, M. Ilyash, O. Semenoh, I. Pakhnenko). The courses "Ukrainian language for professional orientation" and "Children's literature with the basics of culture and technology of speech" play the leading role in raising the level of the culture of students. The focus is on the study of communicative qualities of speech: correctness, accuracy, intelligibility, briefness, logicality, relevance, efficacy, expressiveness. It is recommended to combine theoretical information with training tasks (preparation of reports on problems of speech culture, training exercises for self-fulfillment; abstracts of scientific papers, compiling a dictionary of stress, compiling terminological dictionary, etc.). The article also presents examples of training tasks aimed at developing skills for students' optimal use of specific communicative features of speech in their future professional activities. Systematic and well thought-out work on mastering communicative signs of speech can become an important factor in the professional formation of the future teachers of primary school. The abilities and skills of primary school teachers to skillfully apply appropriate communication qualities can attest their professional preparation and constant desire for self-perfection. The authors of the article are convinced that a high level of speech culture is an indication of respect for children and parents, the pedagogical staff and for him/herself as a citizen of our state.
