Abstract

The article discusses the theoretical foundations of individual career orientations. The essence of career orientation in the student's age, understood as value orientation directly into a career that person is guided by selecting, identifying and simulating a professional and a whole way of life. There are eight career orientations, "professional competence", "management", "autonomy", "stability" and "stable place of residence", "business", "service", "call", "integration lifestyles." Analyzed research on various aspects of the study of the phenomenon of career orientation in the student's age. Presented modern psychological studies that states that in determining the formation and development of career orientation as factors affecting the social environment and the individual characteristics of students. Analyzed of career orientation students different location, different professions, different training courses. Considered career guidance psychology students with different levels of identification with the psychologist-coach; career expectations of future engineer-metallurgists through their personal characteristics and conditions of training; career preferences of students with social character, the character of received occupation, profession or occupation. Indicated for weak level of development as general indication of psychological preparation for implementation of proffesional carear and their some additional components (cognitive, motivational, operational, personal). Indicated that the leading role in shaping psychological readiness to implement future professional career belongs university students, parents and their own activity. Indicated objective and subjective factors that prevent the formation of career orientations of students as well as the hierarchy of difficulties: difficulties of activity and sudents behavior; higher education institutions and other organizations; interaction with family and social activities.
