Abstract
The article is devoted to social networks as a means of ecological culture formation of the youth. It has been pointed out that social networks are an important means of environmentally focused communications that are not yet fully coped with and has great educational potential. A wide range of forms and methods of environmental network communication, aimed at a more dynamic effect on the consciousness and behavior of young people in comparison with other media have been illustrated. The ways of ecologically directed network communications that need to be improved and developed have been outlined, for the educative potential of educational institutions could meet the requirements and moods of target audiences, offering new ways of communication solutions and feedback. The problem of the usage of internet resources needs pedagogical investigation from the viewpoint of education effectiveness improvement with the help of websites, i.e. to reach desirable psychological and pedagogical influence on personality as well as maximum possible results of computerized education.
