Abstract
ThispaperpresentsanexperiencereportontheprocessofinvestigationofmaterialculturalgoodsdestinedtothefirstcollectionsofthecollectionoftheindigenouscommunitymuseumofCatudosEleotérios/RN.Theactionswere carried outbetween2017and2019,bytheCenterforAfro-BrazilianandIndigenousStudiesoftheFederalInstituteofEducation,ScienceandTechnologyofRioGrande. doNorte,Canguaretamacampus.Asgeneralobjective,weaimtoeffectthethemeofindigenouscultureinthecontextofIFRN.WebaseourpracticeonthecriticalemancipatoryperspectiveoutlinedbyPauloFreire(2011),onPedagogyoftheOppressedintheconceptsofexperienceofJorgeLarrosa(2002)andsocialmuseology(IBRAM).Thisexperienceallowedustoelaboratereflectionsontheproductionofknowledgecollaborativelywithindigenouspeoplesandonpedagogicalpraxiscommittedtorespectforculturalpluralities.
