Abstract
The personnel competition is a specially organized system of events for attracting, evaluating and selecting civil service personnel. Which has its own methods and forms of organization and conduct, which help to more accurately identify highly qualified specialists to fill an open vacancy in the civil service. The Government of the Russian Federation has defined a special procedure for preparing and conducting competitions, preliminary testing, and methods for evaluating the professional and personal qualities of candidates for vacant positions in the state civil service and for inclusion in the personnel reserve of state bodies.
