CONTEMPORARY IDEOLOGIES IN THE DISCOURSE ON TRENDS IN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OF THE XXI CENTURY

The article analyzes the connection between ideology and international relations, reveals various sci- entific points of view regarding the understanding ideology and its connection with theory. Political ideologies shape the behavior of states, international institutions, terrorist groups, political elites, non-governmental organi- zations and other international actors. The author argues that modern ideologies such as neoliberalism, human- ism, ecology, the ideology of the global commons, transhumanism, constructivism, militant Islamism are very important. The study of ideology can better understand the interests and behavior of various participants of inter- national relations in terms of various factors, and how they interpret them based on their interests
