Abstract
In this translated study the development process of Sufism and its place in Persian literature has been explained that sufism is a spiritual journey towards the creator by educating the soul under the guidance of science and reason, in accordance with the requirements of the religion of Islam. Sufism, since the II. (VIII.) century, it has had the opportunity to develop in every geography where Islam has spread. Sufism has brought a great cultural value to the era and people from all segments of society, especially literature, and has taken its place among the world cultural heritage as a value in itself.
