ETHICAL LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS AFFECTING TEACHERS’ HAPPINESS IN SCHOOLS UNDER UDON THANI PRIMARY EDUCATION SERVICE AREA OFFICE

Abstract
The purpose of this research were to 1) study the level of ethical leadership of school administrators, 2) study the level of teachers' happiness, 3) study the relationship between ethical leadership of school administrators and teachers' happiness, and 4) create forecasting equation on teachers' happiness in schools under Udon Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office. The sample was 363 teachers, using stratified random sampling. The equipment was a 5-level rating scale questionnaire on 5 factors of ethical leadership of school administrators that the discrimination value between .216 - .719 with the reliabilities of .944 and teachers' happiness that the discrimination value between .235 - . 802 with the reliabilities of .886. The data was analyzed for frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. The results of the research were as follows: 1. The ethical leadership of school administrators in schools under Udon Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office was at a high level for overall. 2. The level of teachers' happiness in schools under Udon Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office was at a high level for overall. 3. The relationship between ethical leadership of school administrators positively correlated teachers' happiness in schools under Udon Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office was statistical significance at .01. 4. Ethical leadership factors: The use of intelligence in problem solving (USI), generosity (GEN), honesty (HON) and enthusiasm (ENT) were predictive variables that affected teachers' happiness in schools under Udon Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office which could predict for 53. 70 percent as shown in predictive equation below.
