RESEARCH OF MICROSTRUCTURE OF VARIETY STEEL BRANDS

Peculiarities of structure and phase formation of microstructure of steel grades are investigated. The kinetics of austenite decay of low-alloy low-silica steel type 20G2 of industrial production has been studied. The influence of various technological processes on the internal structure of metal is traced. The use of the received information will allow to purposefully develop modes of heat treatment of high-quality hire and wire rod. As a result of the conducted experiments the positive influence of the degree of purity of the charge and the protection of the metal jet during casting on the structure and properties of the finished product was revealed.
