Abstract
Considerable attention is paid to the problems of combating crime, namely the detection and investigation of crimes in order to identify the perpetrators. In practice, obtaining samples for examination is associated with the subsequent appointment and conduct of expert research to obtain evidence. Since the expert opinion is important for the whole process of proof, it is important to turn to a consistent consideration of the legal nature and details of obtaining and using samples in criminal proceedings. The conclusions of identification forensic examinations are of great importance for establishing the circumstances of the crime, proving the guilt of a person or his absence.
