Abstract
The description of installation model is presented as well as the brief methodology for estimation of parameters of heat expansion of fire-retardant coatings and sealants is proposed. The testing of work in form of research of intumescent samples selected from real facilities and objects of certification was carried out at the differential thermal analysis cell DTA-850 of the company Du Pont. The resources of developed installation such as coefficients of linear and three-dimensional thermal expansion, maximum swelling pressure are defined with the help of investigation results of different samples. The modes of heating were chosen. The method for sample preparation as well as the method for installation measurement and testing were developed in the scope of R&D. The capabilities of installation allow using it as mobile (express) control by authorities of GPN directly at facilities as well as by laboratories for control of fire-retardance means at facilities during usage.
