Abstract
The purpose of the article is to consider the possibility of using the meme as a semantic construct in literary training in order to form students' interest in the subject and develop creative abilities. The article offers an evidence base for the expediency of using a meme in the teaching methodology, the risks are indicated. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the description of the technology of creating a meme as a mechanism that keeps the attention of students in the intellectual field of reading and analyzing works of art. As a result of the use of memes in literary education, students of the MGPU named after M. E. Evsevyov and students of the Ryazan Medical College have been proven to have a pedagogical effect consisting in the development of the personal qualities of students, their creative potential and the formation of communicative, presentation skills, activation of the thought process.
