The role of mutagens in the breeding and genetics of corn for two-corn

The article presents the results of the evaluation of the parameters of quantitative traits, new and promising for the selection of maize lines and hybrids. It is shown that in the genetic control of the trait “the number of ears from the plant”, incomplete dominance was established in the studied lines, and in grain yield — overdominance and symmetry in the distribution of dominant and recessive alleles. The work also carried out a molecular genetic analysis of self-pollinated corn lines of KBGU selection was carried out by a series of RAPD primers.
