Abstract
Indian mutual fund industry is rapidly in developing phase. In the research paper evaluated risk of selected Corporate Bond Debt Mutual Funds. In this research paper selected CRISIL rated ten Corporate Bond Debt Mutual Funds Direct Plan. Risk of selected Corporate Bond Debt Mutual Funds evaluated with the help of Standard Deviation and Average Return. The average of average annual return of Corporate Bond Debt Mutual Funds is 8.69% for the selected mutual funds. The average annual return is highest 9.78% Franklin India Corporate Debt Fund Plan A (Direct) Growth Corporate Bond Fund and average annual return is lowest 7.84% for Invesco India Corporate Bond Fund (Direct) Growth Corporate Bond Fund The average standard deviation is 2.83% for Corporate Bond Debt Mutual Funds. The standard deviation is highest 5.02% for L&T Triple Ace Bond Fund (Direct Plan) Growth Corporate Bond Fund and standard deviation is lowest 1.25% for Nippon India Corporate Bond Fund (Direct Plan) Growth Corporate Bond Fund for the period 2014- 2018. This Study conclude that standard deviation is highest 5.02% for L&T Triple Ace Bond Fund (Direct Plan) Growth Corporate Bond Fund so it is very high risky Corporate Bond Debt Mutual Fund. Standard deviation is lowest 1.25% for Nippon India Corporate Bond Fund (Direct Plan) Growth Corporate Bond Fund so it is low risk Corporate Bond Debt Mutual Fund.
