Abstract
As human civilization advances, there is a rise in energy requirements for the development as well as for the daily routine of humans. To meet the requirement of energy large-scale harvesting is done from nonrenewable energies. Solar energy is a never ended source of energy, to extract useful energy from it there are many devices, solar heaters are majorly used in solar collector equipment. Researchers doing a lot of study on increasing the efficiency of these heat exchangers. In this paper, we try to increase the efficiency of the heat exchanger by providing an artificial roughness in the combination of the boot and reversed boot shape by using computational fluid mechanics.
