Mehmed Cavid Bey'in İktisadi Görüşleri

Mehmed Cavid Bey was a stateman whom the Ottoman State brought up in its last period. He was a famous scientist in the area of economics and finance also. It is reported that he tried to applicate his views which he defended in some media as a politician in the hardest times of the Ottoman Empire. Theoretically, his economical ideas were shaped in the frame of liberal concept. He opposed every official view interfering the economics. Cavid Bey pointed the ways develop Turkey economically: 1- Turkey should choose an economical way fitting its natural abilities. 2- Turkey should develop its agriculture and trade.
