Abstract
National Development Party has been founded as the third opposition party of Turkey at the end of the second world war by Nuri Demirağ and his friends. As an opposition party against Republican People Party which in power for a long time approved by the crowded people full of interest and expectation at the beginning. National Development Party seperated in two years and never prolonged once more due to lack of experience enough in politics firstly of the founder and the notables who left their party to become a deputy from the other parties. The party closed by itself in 1958.
