Abstract
Armenians, as one of the most important constituent of the non-muslim subjects of the Ottoman State, exhibitied different attitudes during the parliamentary elections between 1908-1914. During the elections of 1908 and 1912 there happened no serious problem between the Armenians and the Ottoman State. However during the 1914 elections both sides experienced a long standing problem. The policies that Armenians followed usually created and leaded by the Armenian Patriarchate. In general, they collobarated with the Union and Progress Party (ittihat ve Terakki) and with the other parties.
