After the 2n d half of the XIX. century, most of the public service of Ottoman Empire had been carried out by private companies by means of concession system. In the beginning of the last century, by private sector three offers were made in order to build and run a funicular on the street leading to Bosphorus from Karaköy by means of concession system, but unfortunately it couldn't have been achieved. After about a century has passed Taksim-Kabataş funicular has been tendered with $ 30 million. The system which is called buildrun and transfer has been under discussion and it is obvious that it is worth discussing.
