LINGUISTIC HERITAGE OF VASYL SIMOVYCH AND ITS ROLE IN BUILDING FUTURE TEACHERS-PHILOLOGISTS’ PHONETIC COMPETENCE

The building of teacher-philologist's phonetic competence has always been the focus of scientific researches because Ukrainian language sound system is a basis of language realization in the speech. The urgency is due to the fact that nowadays the Ukrainian language (as well as during scientific activity of V. Simovych) develops and functions in close contact and coexistence with other languages, where the main task of speakers is to maintain linguistic stability, the bases of which is the phonetic language level. Based on this, building future Ukrainian language teachers' phonetic competence is always scientifically studied and practically improved. The linguistic works of V. Simovych require scientific review, where the issues of the common aspects of phonetics and phonology, phonetics teaching methods of future teachers-philologists' in interrelation with other language levels and linguistic sections are still relevant.
