Abstract
Introduction. Modern institution of higher professional education, which has significant educational and cultural potential, is well placed to unleashing the artistic and creative potential ofthe future teacher of vocational and professional education on the basis of competence and activity approaches that will promote the development of his personal qualities related to professional competence. The educational level of future teachers of professional education determines the special requirements for professional skills, highlighting the need to master professional knowledge and skills. Purpose. The article is concerned with methodological aspects of design-technological competence building of future teachers of vocational and professional education. Methods. The study is based on the examine and analysis of normative documentation,psychological and pedagogical literature, theoretical modeling, description of pedagogical experience.
