KNOWLEDGE GENERATION OF ELEMENTS OF DESIGN-TECHNOLOGY ACTIVITY ON THE MATERIAL OF THE COURSE «TECHNOLOGICAL WORKSHOP»

Abstract

Introduction. In the context of reforming Ukrainian education, updating the content and improving the quality of education in all its parts, the training of future teachers of labor education and technology is important. The article analyzes the features of students' education on the basis of design-technology activity, which is an important point of their professional training. The purpose of the article is to reveal the possibilities of organizing the educational activities of higher education students, in particular students ‒ future teachers of labor education and technology, with the involvement of elements of design-technology activity during the mastering of the course «Technological Workshop». Methods. Theoretical methods such as analysis of scientific and pedagogical sources,systematization and generalization of data are used in the process of writing the article. Results. Mastering in the process of studying the course «Technological Workshop» knowledge about the essence of educational design and skills, skills of gradual implementation of the educational project is an important component of professional training of students ‒ future teachers of labor education. Іt was found out that under the condition of using the design method in the process of educational activity there will be planned and purposeful preparation of the future teacher of labor education for realization of design-technology approach in educational field «Technology»,organization of labor training using design methods. Originality. The initial knowledge generation about the main stages of design-technology activity is carried out in the first year in the first semester, when students are involved in the implementation of the educational desidn «Soft Toy». Within the framework of this topic, students have the opportunity to consolidate their knowledge, skills in performing manual, machine and wet-heat work. This topic provides an opportunity for national education, the development of aesthetic tastes of the teacher of labour education and technology. Conclusion. Mastering knowledge about the essence of educational design and skills, skills of the gradual implementation of an educational project is an important component of the professional training of future labor education teachers. This approach to education at the initial stage of training a future teacher of labor education and technology will allow him to clearly adapt to modern changing life situations, creative approach to the learning process in school: solve problems, achieve goals, be sociable, be able to work in the school team.
