PHENOMENON OF FUTURE TEACHERS DIGITAL COMPETENCE IN DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN SCIENTISTS RESEARCH

Abstract

Introduction. The innovation of lifelong learning, which is an important component of the modern educational paradigm, is directly aimed to overcome the main contradiction of modern education - between the steady increase of information in the world and the limited human ability to assimilate it. This contradiction requires educational institutions to train students for learning at different levels, to receive information, critically evaluate it and apply it creatively, that is, to form digital competencies that will provide the opportunity for successful lifelong learning; be ready for the chosen professional activity and continuous improvement professional skill; to live and work in a digital society, especially in the realities of the digital economy. State policy in the field of education is reflected in a number of legislative acts adopted in recent years: the laws of Ukraine «On Access to Public Information», the new version of the Law of Ukraine «On Information», «On Personal Data Protection», «On Administrative Services», The concept of e-government development, the National Informatization Program, the decisions made on the implementation of e-government, e-commerce, e-education and other basic technologies of the information society. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to analyze current studies on the formation and development of digital competence of future teachers and their readiness to implement the basic provisions of the New Ukrainian School, which will highlight its main features and become the basis for further studies. Methods. Method of system and structure analysis of scientific literature, synthesis, classification, systematization, generalization. Results. The issues of competence approach in education and its implementation are observer in the article. The problem of digital competence formation is considered as one of the key at the present stage of development of society. According to the European Analytical Commission, digital competence is low among the active population of European countries. Therefore, today it is important to consider the phenomenon of students digital competencies developmen, future teachers – representatives of the digital generation. The scientific literature analysis on the study of digital competence is carried out and the basic concepts and terms are investigated. It is found out that digital competence cover various spheres of life. The ways of further study of this problem are determined. Conclusion. As the analysis of literature and scientific publications of authors engaged in the study of digital competence shows, we come to the conclusion that a competent student in the digital field should be able to extract relevant information from various sources, including digital measurement. Such a person should also be endowed with the necessary ability to qualitatively and quantitatively assess and self-assess information to identify controversial issues. Finally, after reaching the control and evaluation phase, the person is able to use the information in accordance with their interests to achieve the goal. Such situations potentially push the individual to make decisions, solve problems, promote the acquisition of new knowledge.
