Abstract
Based on research into the output characteristics of solar systems under partial shadowing situations, a maximum power point tracking approach is developed. The existing procedure is held in such a way that it results in a large number of peaks, which reduces efficiency, accuracy, and time taken. The proposed strategy, which is based on the Modified Particle Swarm Optimization method, or MPSO for short, improves efficiency in such odd conditions and outperforms other techniques. This method is tested and analysed in Matlab software under a variety of partial shading conditions, and the results are compared to a Fuzzy Logic methodology, which is another clever algorithm, to see how effective it is. The proposed strategy can eliminate the interference of the local maximum power point, allowing the photovoltaic system to operate at global maximum power point, according to the researchers. The MPSO, in comparison, produces steady state oscillation under partial shade conditions
