The events of 2013-2014, especially the Revolution of Dignity and the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war, forever changed the course of modern history of Ukraine, exposing the problems that have accumulated throughout the period of Ukrainian independence. The biggest among them is the division of Ukrainian society into two parts: "pro-Western" and "pro-Russian". This opposition is based on a number of socio-historical, socio-cultural and ethnocultural factors - from the question of the state language to the confession of "Western (European)" / "Eastern (post-Soviet)" values. For eight years, the unification of the denoted, because the latter term is not used as a keyword media word, but rather belongs to the meta-units of description.
