PEDAGOGICAL METHODS OF TEACHING THE DISCIPLINE «INTRODUCTION TO THE SPECIALTY» TO FUTURE PRESCHOOL TEACHERS

Abstract
Introduction. European integration processes, transition to European quality standards in education, a number of laws and regulations adopted by Ukraine, raise the issue of training a modern educator with innovative thinking, who is able to respond to changes in society quickly and adequately, who has professional competencies, which enable his/her competitiveness in the European labour market. Contradictions between modern requirements for educators and the capabilities of higher education institutions force teachers to look for optimal forms and methods of teaching disciplines to future professionals in preschool education. The «Introduction to the specialty» is one of the first normative disciplines, which reveals the specifics of the educator and the requirements for him as a professional. The purpose of the article is to highlight the pedagogical technologies of teaching the discipline «Introduction to the specialty» to future educators of preschool education institutions. Methods. To achieve this goal, it has been used the following theoretical methods and techniques of cognition - analysis and generalization of scientific literature, comparison, synthesis, systematization and generalization of information. Results. Ukrainian scientists L. Artemova, H. Bielienka, O. Bohinich, O. Brezhneva, N. Havrysh, I. Dychkivska, L. Zahorodnia, L. Zdanevych, L. Ishchenko, K. Krutiy, V. Kushnir, T. Lesina, L. Lokhvytska, V. Liapunova, T. Ponimanska, V. Serheieva, O. Sokolovska, I. Skomorovska and others have studied the problem of future preschool teachers' professional training, in particular with the use of educational technologies. These scientists are convinced that a variety of educational technologies is aimed at quality training of preschool teachers, forming of their professional skill and maximum self-realization in this process. The experience of future preschool education specialists' training with use the technologies of problem-based, positional, interactive learning allows us to talk about its effectiveness. Originality. Teaching the discipline «Introduction to the specialty» with the use of pedagogical technologies of positional, problem-based and interactive learning lays a solid foundation for the training of modern preschool teacher as a competent and competitive specialist of the European level. Conclusion. Teaching the discipline «Introduction to the specialty» with the use of complex technology of problem-based and interactive learning contributed to the education of undergraduate students' strong interest in mastering the material of the discipline, understanding the nature and importance of future profession, requirements for modern preschool teacher, awareness of the need for systematic, high-quality and thoughtful studying of educational material, active efforts to create an individual educational trajectory and the forming of the foundations of professional competence.
