Analysis of the 185delAG polymorphism of the BRCA1 gene in patients with oncopathology in Kabardino-Balkaria

The aim of the work was to search for and evaluate the frequency of the 185delAG mutation in the BRCA1 gene in breast cancer patients living in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. The search for the mutation was carried out by the polymerase chain reaction of DNA synthesis followed by electrophoretic detection of the reaction products. As a result of screening, the 185delAG mutation in the BRCA1 gene was detected with a frequency of 24.23%.
