Shiromani Akali Dal and Sikh Politics

The newly elected president of the party, Sardar MPS Chadha said that this is a historic decision of the Sikhs of Delhi. The Sikhs of Delhi needed their own party. He said that now he will be able to work for the Sikh community without any interruption and will also be able to serve in the Delhi Gurdwara Committee. Another partys name has been added to the Sikh politics of Delhi. Its name is Shiromani Akali Dal Delhi State. Sikh leaders who were members of Shiromani Akali Dal Badal faction have formed this new party. In this, most of the Sikh leaders are officers and members of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee. The chairman of the management committee, Harmeet Singh Kalka himself has formed this party.
