Statistical analysis of driving under the influence of alcohol in Chongqing district in China

Abstract
We analyzed 11846 driving violations blood alcohol content (BAC) cases (>0.05 mg/mL) under influence of alcohol (DUIA) from 2011 to 2012 in Chongqing. We also assessed the impact of the other factors including types of motor vehicle, gender influence on BAC. The results indicated that the traffic injuries by DUIA in Chongqing have been effectively prevented.
