Ukrainian labour market in the context of digitalization of the economy

Abstract

The article identifies the features of the labour market of Ukraine in conditions of digitization and virtualization processes due to the formation of informative and network economy. It is due to the rapid spread of robotics, cloud technology, intelligent automation, neurotechnology acquire a variety of innovative activities. The transition to a digital economy significantly changes the system of social and labour relations, directly the labour market and the labour process itself. Characteristics are described, contributing to the emergence and rapid development of various forms of non-standard and atypical employment. The key trends that will increase the impact on employment, and which form the relevant requirements for professional knowledge, skills and abilities of the employee, his demand in the labour market are indicated. Continuity in the development of professions, the conditionality of the emergence of new production functions and new professions by the transformation of existing ones, allows to predict the emergence of new activities, the emergence of certain competencies. A list of skills, that employers believe will become popular in the coming years, has been identified. The new paradigm provides learning for all people throughout life. Such a system of education focuses not only on the transfer of knowledge and skills development, but also on supporting the development of a person as a full participant in all spheres of life. Attention is focused on scenarios of the development of the digital economy in Ukraine, depending on the assessment of the criticality and the need for rapid and profound changes in the traditional economic system. In the future, successful countries will be those that break down barriers between people, jobs and technology and empower their citizens, enabling them to be effective and creative regardless of location
