Abstract
This study is based on primary data gathered at random from 334 households in eight villages from two blocks using a well-structured questionnaire. We employ Heteroscedasticity in Linear Regression Analysis in addition to descriptive statistics to uncover significant socio-economic drivers of working status inter-block variation of Mising women. Using field research data, two different regression models for two blocks were estimated, with women's labour force participation as the dependent variable and its many possible determinants as the dependent variable and their various possible determinants. According to the above coefficient table of regression analysis, in the Gomariguri block, MARTS, HOUS, FT, INDEBTED, LH, MID, and MPCE are significant for labour force participation rate, whereas in the Bokakhat block, other characteristics such as MGNREGA, DR, FT, REMOTNESS, and SEC are significant for labour force participation rate.
