Abstract
The consequences of applying Hofer's formula for the coefficient of hydraulic resistance instead of the formulas provided by the current normative document DBN B.2.5–20–2018 in gas-dynamic calculations of gas networks of settlements have been established by mathematical modeling. The influence of this change in the mathematical model on the results of calculating the coefficient of hydraulic resistance in steel and polyethylene gas networks of low, medium and high pressure depending on the mode of gas movement is revealed.
