ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF SYNCHRONOUS AND ASYNCHRONOUS DISTANCE LEARNING

The author considers the advantages and disadvantages of synchronous and asynchronous distance learning. It has been concluded that synchronous learning is similar to the classical model of learning in a higher educational establishment. Synchronous distance learning provides students with more freedom to choose subjects and continue their education, giving them more responsibility for their own learning than for the synchronous educational process.
