CURRENT TENDENCIES AND MECHANISMS OF FINANCIAL SECURITY IN BUSINESS STRUCTURES

This article summarizes the definition of financial security of an enterprise, examines in detail the mechanisms of financial security in business structures, proposes different approaches to assessing the level of economic security of an enterprise, and conducts a comparative analysis of these approaches. Considering this problem in this context gives us an understanding that financial security is not only the ability of business structures to realize their own potential, but also to strengthen the economic security of the country. The analysis of problematic areas of business financial security suggests that enterprises face a number of external threats: government crises, the level and forecast of inflation, unstable currency policy, lack of funds for investment, unfavorable macroeconomic conditions, changes in interest rates on loans. A considerable share is also occupied by internal threats: low liquidity of the company's assets, low level of personnel qualification, competitively unsustainable technical equipment of the company, low level of business reputation, leakage of financial and strategic information of the business structure.
