Abstract

This article highlights the concept of future projecting in adolescence. A working definition of the concept of "design" is formulated, which synthesizes the vectors of life aspirations in constructing a model of the future by personality through prognostic skills. It is theoretically analyzed that life aspirations involve awareness of one's own life, its direction, quality, and creation of the desired future in its unpredictability. The concept of life aspirations reflects the structure of personal values, attitudes, and performance indicators in the activity and communication sphere. The matter is that the individual's life aspirations certainly meet the need to actively influence the course of their development, to diversify, organize and improve their lives and they are a specific mechanism of life anticipatory regulation, providing adaptation in advance. It is determined that life aspirations are a vector of personality projection. Theoretical researches have shown that the adolescence period is the most favourable for the development of life aspirations as a component of a purposeful personality system and has certain risks, and the development of the personality of adolescence is associated with the construction of the future, including the determinants of vital aspirations, certain strategies related to the life choice of the future life, correlate with professional self-determination. It is about changing the vector of the most important life orientations of modern youth such as "not to life success, but life well-being". The results of an empirical study of the problem of designing the future through the vector of life aspirations in adolescence are analyzed. Attempts have been made to empirically assess the "potential of future forecasting" through the levels (prospective and regulatory) of representation of life aspirations in the minds of high school students by the correlating scales of T. Titarenko's methodology and to establish vector fields of life aspirations of high school students. It is empirically found that the most important determinants of life aspirations of high school students in the life projects of their future are: social utility, extreme aspirations, and desire to explore the world and travel. In order to indicate the vectorization of the life path (the appearance of important vectors) in planning the future and their consistency between life pursuits and the ability to predict among high school students, 2 profiles of respondents were analyzed and their comparative analysis was carried out using a statistical tool Mann-Whitney U-test).
