Abstract
The article reveals the importance of psychological and pedagogical conditions, necessary for the activation and formation of speech in non-speaking young children, the role of the teacher, psychologist and parents in this process. The authors offer diagnostic options for young children. The authors pay special attention to the need for correctional work with young children with delayed speech development, emphasizing that this violation does not allow children to fully learn the world around them in accordance with age. In the process of researching this topic, the authors come to the conclusion that there is a need for systematic and purposeful work with non-speaking young children, which in turn contributes to the comprehensive development of the child.
