Abstract
Background: The present study was undertaken to evaluate the anti- inflammatory activity of the ethanolic extract of Bauhinia Vahlii Methods: Ethanolic extract of Bauhinia Vahlii at concentration (100, 200, 300 mg/kg) using different phlogistic agents-induced paw edema viz.,Carrageenan-induced paw oedema and Cotton pellet induced granuloma in rats.Indomethacin at the dose of 10mg/kg was used as standard.
