Abstract
Introduction. Nowadays one of the urgent issues in preschool education is the training of a competent preschool teacher. Studying the educational discipline «Preschool Pedagogy» plays an important role in this process. It is combined with other professional disciplines, aimed at developing the professional competence of future preschool teachers in professional training at a higher educational institution. Purpose. The article aims to present the content and teaching methodology of the normative discipline «Preschool Pedagogy» using multimedia learning technologies in professional training of future bachelors of preschool education. Methods. Analysis and generalization of scientific literature, comparison, synthesis, systematization, and generalization of information were used. Results. The results of the scientific study can be used at a higher educational institution to further improve the professional training of future preschool teachers. The main provisions and theoretical conclusions are aimed at the fact that the normative educational discipline «Preschool Pedagogy» plays an important role in developing the professional competence of future teachers of preschool educational institutions. It is aimed at building students' competencies and program learning outcomes, which ensure commitment to preschool children's comprehensive and harmonious personality development. Originality. Teaching the discipline «Preschool Pedagogy» using multimedia learning technologies reveals significant potential in implementing tasks, which are aimed at building the professional competence of future preschool teachers in professional training at a higher educational institution.Conclusion. Using multimedia technologies in teaching the educational discipline «Preschool Pedagogy» makes the training of future preschool teachers more effective, teaches them to find the interesting and necessary information on current issues of preschool education, works with Internet sources, and develops cognitive processes.
